Well, a lot of the south is hunkering down for a decent amount of snow! That means grocery shelves are empty; if you’re smart, of course, you’ve already gotten your bread, milk and liquor! :)

Since we moved into our home a few years ago, we’ve never really known what to do with the breakfast nook area right off the kitchen. We already have a dining room complete with a table and chairs, so we didn’t feel the need for another eating area.
After a few years of debating, we finally took the leap and took a few weekends to make a built-in bench in the bay window of the nook!
Let’s be honest – sometimes life just happens and before you know it you are overlooking the things you’ve always disliked, like a scuff on the wall or a pile of magazines in the corner that you still haven’t gone through. #reallife
Well, we’ve lived in our house more than two years, so a few weeks ago we figured it was high time to paint and style our bedroom the way we wanted.
Fall means two definite things for us – 1) all of our trees will continuously drop leaves starting now until late May, and 2) we start cooking and baking like we’ll never eat again!
Football season, pumpkin-spiced-everything, and yes, even Christmas is already in some stores. The countdown to cool evenings around the fire pit is on!
