Who doesn’t love BBQ? If you said “me,” we need to evaluate 1) our friendship and 2) your current life plan.

Any time we get BBQ out on the town, we inevitably have leftovers – lots and lots of leftovers. Mainly because we go beast mode like we are gearing up for a sumo match, when we really eat about 1/5th of what we order. Some of our favorites around Atlanta are Community Q in Decatur and Williamson Brothers in Marietta, btw.

This recipe is a quick way to use those leftovers and elevate it into a delicious mountain of food!

Easter Sunday

Since we moved into the new house, we’ve had several parties – the annual Holiday party, Trey’s birthday bash, a Mexican-inspired cooking party – but we haven’t actually had a dinner party. Having heavy finger food that keeps people moving and conversing is very different than having to entertain nine people around a dinner table.

Peach iced tea

Being a true southern boy, I was raised on sweet iced tea. I remember my mawmaw making  it in a big jar and mixing it around with her hand before pouring me a glass when I was little. Whether it is hot or cold outside, a big, tall glass of sweet iced tea hits the spot.

I thought that sweet tea couldn’t get any better – until I had a glass of peach iced tea at Barnsley Gardens in my hometown. Being a Georgia boy, you can’t go wrong with peach ;) If you ever have a chance to go to Barnsley, you have to try the iced tea. And if you ever run into the Fairy Godmother while you’re there, tell her Sven sent you.

After a few tries, I found the perfect recipe.
