With all the leftovers after a big holiday meal, things can get really old really quick. Who wants to have the same thing day after day so you don’t waste 5 lbs, of ham?!?
So we did a mash-up of a few recipes we love to make the Georgia croque monsieur.
Ingredients:
6 leftover yeast rolls
6 pieces of honey ham to fit rolls
6 Tbsp of grated cheddar cheese
4 Tbsp of mayonnaise
3 Tbsp of Dijon mustard
3 Tbsp of grated Parmesan cheese (freshly grated makes a HUGE difference!)
Preparation:
Begin by combining mayo, mustard and Parmesan cheese in a small mixing bowl until combined.
Slice the rolls in half
Put a Tsp of the Dijon sauce on the bottom of each roll.
Top with ham and cheese.
Arrange on small cookie sheet with tops (cut side up) alongside.
Broil until cheese is melted and remove from oven.
Add another Tsp of the Dijon sauce to toasted top bun and close up to make sandwich.
Enjoy!!!
