I’ll be honest; I’ve never tried a Manwich. It hasn’t looked too appealing to me over the years, but that’s just me. I grew up with homemade sloppy joes, which my mother called Spoonburgers. This is, presumably, because you practically have to eat them with a spoon, as they’re definitely sloppy! I love making them all the time, because they’re quick, easy, and last for a few meals.

Grilled Old Fashioned
Who doesn’t love bourbon? And who doesn’t love to grill? This recipe was inspired by Damaris Phillips when she and her siblings had a grilling day. I tweaked it a little to my taste and good golly, is it delicious!!!
Donut Day! (AND Happy Friday!)
So, today is National Donut Day! We’re usually not big on holidays, or donuts, so….oh, who am I kidding! We love holidays! We love donuts, too!

While on vacation, went to a great restaurant right on the water. We sat and enjoyed the view, as well as the great portions of food, at Lazy Days Restaurant in Islamorada, FL!
