I’ve always loved pepper steak, one of the less-popular typical Chinese/Asian dishes. Growing up, mom made pepper steak with a tomato sauce rather than a soy-based sauce. And while I will make that recipe occasionally, a few years ago I found a great recipe for pepper steak from another blog that is delicious!

Holiday party!
So for the past decade or so, Trey and I have had an annual holiday party. We started very small back in the day, but have since collected an immense collection of trees and decor. In my defense, we only had 10 trees this year – I didn’t even put the last one up :) In fact, this year Trey threatened to greet guests at the door with “Welcome to Macy’s!”

I am a huge fan of potatoes and onions, so this is right up my alley. Every fall this recipe seems to be a go-to meal that is pretty quick and easy – yet impressive and classic!
No-Sun November!
Well, November has started off very soggy and dreary; we’ve seen the sun once this week, I think. It’s rained almost every day, and today is no exception. It’s starting to feel like Seattle, not Atlanta!
Bathroom remodel
We live in a wonderful, newer 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath house and we love it! It was built just under 10 years ago in a craftsman-style with huge crown moldings, lots of windows, 10-foot celings – you name it!
