So, I made a quick run to the market for olive oil – and this is what I came back with. I hate it when that happens, but this place is definitely worth the trip. If you haven’t been here, you’ve got to stop by.
Loaded Baked Potato Soup
Since there are so many variations to the classic Loaded Baked Potato Soup recipe, we decided to make our own recipe! It’s super creamy, yummy and easy to make!
Quick Tip – grocery shopping
I’m ready for my close up…
Taking pictures for our blog always has its challenges – lighting, staging, using different serving ware, etc. One challenge we didn’t expect was our dogs. While Storm will just lay on the floor next to us wherever we are, Daisy always wants to be part of the action. So here’s to Daisy who was enjoying being photographed so much that she turned into supermodel mode, striking poses continually and not trying to lick the camera.
Sautéed zucchini with shallots
Zucchini is one of our favorite vegetables because it is so versatile. When we need a quick side dish for dinner, this is always a go-to. Just because it isn’t quite spring yet doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy good squash!
A project we’ve been working on…
We’ve been working for a solid week on a project that we thought would be quick and easy, but complex. At times (many, many times), it has felt like we have bitten off more than we can chew. BUT we are nearing the end and we hope you’ll love it as much as we do!
We’ll be sure to post the completed project and let you know what we learned (PS. we learned A LOT!)
