For years, we didn’t actually do a lot for each other on Valentine’s Day other that a card, maybe some chocolates. But this year was different…
Here she is…
So, I made a quick run to the market for olive oil – and this is what I came back with. I hate it when that happens, but this place is definitely worth the trip. If you haven’t been here, you’ve got to stop by.
Taking pictures for our blog always has its challenges – lighting, staging, using different serving ware, etc. One challenge we didn’t expect was our dogs. While Storm will just lay on the floor next to us wherever we are, Daisy always wants to be part of the action. So here’s to Daisy who was enjoying being photographed so much that she turned into supermodel mode, striking poses continually and not trying to lick the camera.
We’ve been working for a solid week on a project that we thought would be quick and easy, but complex. At times (many, many times), it has felt like we have bitten off more than we can chew. BUT we are nearing the end and we hope you’ll love it as much as we do!
We’ll be sure to post the completed project and let you know what we learned (PS. we learned A LOT!)
These are a few photos of our crazy dogs, Storm and Daisy. Both are rescue dogs and they always seem to know how to make us laugh and when we may need a little snuggling.
And he’s not afraid to let the entire neighborhood know about it by barking continuously. And his bark sounds like a pack of wolves…
I guess we’d better feed them both!
